Abegg and Doerig new 2men Bobleigh Junior Swiss Champions
Olympia Bob Run
Another big race day at the Olympia Bob Run - in St.Moritz-Celerina.
Early in the morning, the Bobsleigh Junior Swiss athletes had their 2men-competition. Silvio Abegg with Marco Doering won the race, 25 hundreths ahead of Team Rohner. Team Ritzmann finished in 3rd place.
In the same competition the "Tulux Cup" took place. In this race Clemens Bracher and Michael Kuonen were the fastest, 1,61 secondes ahead of Team Baumann and 1,87 secondes ahead of Team Höfliger.
Besides these competitions the skeleton athletes had their last race of the season. Riet Graf was one more time the winner. Also on the podium: Basil Sieber (+1,26) and Fabian Hunger(+1,93). The overall ranking of the Engadin Grand Prix 2015/2016 was won by Philippe Wendel. In second place Fabian Hunger.
Tomorrow from 9.30am the 4men-competition of the Swiss Juniors will take place at the Olympia Bob Run. It would be a pleasure seeing you at the bob track cheering on the young athletes.
Abegg und Doerig neue 2er-Bob Junioren-Schweizer-Meister
Ein weiterer umfangreicher Renntag am Olympia Bob Run in St. Moritz-Celerina.
Am frühen Morgen trugen die Schweizer Junioren ihren 2er-Bobwettkampf aus. Silvio Abegg und Marco Doering gewannen das Rennen 25 Hundertstel vor Team Rohner. Team Ritzmann landete am dritten Platz.
Im gleichen Rennen fand auch der "Tulux Cup" statt. In diesem Wettkampf waren Clemens Bracher und Michael Kuonen die Schnellsten, 1,61 Sekunden vor Team Baumann und 1,87 Sekunden vor Team Höfliger.
Neben diesen Rennen hatten die Skeletonfahrer ihren letzten Wettkampf, der zur Cupwertung dieser Saison zählt. Riet Graf war auch dieses Mal der Gewinner. Ebenso auf dem Podium: Basil Sieber und Fabian Hunger. Die Gesamtwertung des Engadin Grand Prix 2015/2016 wurde von Philippe Wendel gewonnen. Auf dem zweiten Platz landete Fabian Hunger.
Morgen findet ab 9.30Uhr das 4er-Bobrennen der Schweizer Junioren am Olympia Bob Run statt. Es würde uns sehr freuen Sie - beim Anfeuern der jungen Athleten - an der Bobbahn zu sehen.
