Monobob-, 2er Bob- und Skeletonschulen

Sollten Sie mit dem Gedanken spielen eine der oben genannten Eiskanalsportarten erlernen zu wollen, finden Sie hier die Lösung: Der Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz - Celerina bietet jede Saison mindestens eine Monobob-, eine Bob- und eine Skeletonschule an. Diese gezielte Förderung ist die Grundlage, dass die Bobfahrer/innen und Skeleton-Athleten/innen auch in Zukunft Medaillengaranten an internationalen Grossanlässen sind. Im Programm-Kalender sind die Daten für die diversen Schulen ersichtlich.

Gesundheitliche Voraussetzungen

Bei Beeinträchtigung der Gesundheit sollte auf eine Teilnahme verzichtet werden, namentlich beim Vorliegen folgender Leiden:

  • Rücken- und/oder Nackenbeschwerden

  • Herz- und/oder Lungenproblemen

  • Kreislaufbeschwerden

  • Osteoporose (Knochendichteverminderung)

  • nach Operationen an der Wirbelsäule, bzw. wenn ein Bandscheibenvorfall bekannt ist

  • Polyarthritis

Ebenso sollte während einer Schwangerschaft auf eine Teilnahme verzichtet werden.

Im Zweifelsfall wird empfohlen, ärztlichen Rat einzuholen.

Monobobschule

Beim noch relativ jungen Monobobsport ist der Pilot von A - Z alleine auf sich gestellt; d.h. er/sie muss selber anschieben, steuern und bremsen. Der Kurs wird von einem professionellen Piloten geleitet.

Voraussetzungen zur Teilnahme ist ein Mindestalter von 15 Jahren und gute körperliche Fitness. Ein Kurs dauert drei Tage. Die Kosten betragen CHF 1’000.– pro Teilnehmer. Im Preis inbegriffen sind die Fahrten, die Monobobmiete, die Transporte vom Ziel an den Start sowie das Instruktorenhonorar. Der Tagesablauf beinhaltet die Einführung am ersten Tag, die tägliche Bahnbegehung, zwei Trainingsfahrten, Videoanalyse sowie Materialkunde. Monobob- und 2er-Bobschule

Der Kurs wird von einem professionellen Piloten geleitet. Voraussetzungen zur Teilnahme ist ein Mindestalter von 16 Jahren und gute körperliche Fitness. Der Kurs dauert fünf Tage. Die Kosten betragen CHF 1'500.– pro Teilnehmer. Im Preis inbegriffen sind die Fahrten, die Bobmiete, die Transporte vom Ziel an den Start sowie das Instruktorenhonorar. Skeletonschule

Der Kurs wird von einem professionellen Piloten geleitet. Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist ein Mindestalter von 15 Jahren und eine gute körperliche Fitness. Der Kurs dauert drei Tage und die Kurskosten betragen CHF 650.– pro Person. Im Preis inbegriffen sind die Fahrten, die Skeletonmiete, die Transporte vom Ziel an den Start sowie das Instruktorenhonorar. Monobob-, 2men bobsleigh- and Skeleton schools

If you are thinking about learning one of the above-mentioned ice channel sports, you will find the solution here: The Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz - Celerina offers at least one monobob, one bobsleigh and one skeleton school every season. This targeted support is the basis for ensuring that the bobsleigh and skeleton athletes will continue to win medals at major international events in the future. The dates for the various schools can be found in the programme calendar.

Medical restrictions

Participation should be avoided if health is impaired, namely if the following conditions are present:

  • back and / or neck problems

  • cardiac and / or lung problems

  • heart or circulatory complaints

  • osteoporosis (bone density decrease)

  • after spinal surgery, or when a herniated disc
    is known

  • polyarthritis

Participation should also be avoided during pregnancy.

Monobob school

During a monobob ride the pilot is from start to finish on his own: he has to push, steer and brake himself. The course will be conducted by a professional coach.


The terms of participation imply a minimum age of 15 and physical fitness. The three-day course costs CHF 1’000 per person. The fee includes the rides, the rental of the monobobs, the shuttle from finish to start and the instructor's fee. The daily schedule includes the introduction at the first day, the daily track walks, two rides, video analysis and material science. The detailed announcements can be downloaded underneath.


Monobob and 2 men Bob school
