It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of the legendary bob pilot Tony Nash. Tony was well known in St. Moritz, his sporting career took him to the Engadine time and again. In 1965 he celebrated the world championship title in the two-man bob on our track - the only one of his career.
Tony will live on at the Olympic Bob Run St. Moritz - Celerina. A corner of our track was already dedicated to this great sportsman during his lifetime.
Mit grosser Trauer haben wir vom Tod des legendären Bobpiloten Tony Nash Kenntnis genommen. Tony war in St. Moritz wohlbekannt, seine sportliche Laufbahn führte ihn immer wieder ins Engadin. 1965 feierte er auf unserer Bahn den Weltmeistertitel im Zweierbob - den einzigen seiner Karriere.
Tony wird auf dem Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz - Celerina weiterleben. Schon zu Lebzeiten wurde eine Kurve unserer Bahn diesem grossen Sportler gewidmet.
